What Families Are Saying
The best part of my work is watching children grow and families feel supported. Here’s what parents have shared about their experiences—the progress their children have made, the confidence they’ve gained, and the care they’ve received along the way.
Kaitlyn was my son’s speech therapist for 5 years. When we first started seeing her he was only 3 and you could not understand a single word that he said. He was also VERY stubborn. Kaitlyn was beyond patient with him and utilized strategies and activities to keep him engaged and interested. She always made us feel heard when we discussed our concerns and she made plans that worked for him. He never felt like he was “working” because she always made learning FUN for him. Most amazing of all she took him from a shy, unintelligible, frustrated 3 year old to a confident, and well spoken 8 year old when we finished. We could never thank her enough for all she did for him.

Working with Kaitlyn over the past year has been one of the best decisions we’ve made for our son. When we first started speech therapy, our son was having difficulty communicating clearly, and it was starting to affect his confidence. Fast forward a year, and the transformation is absolutely incredible—he’s speaking clearly, participating more in school, and most importantly, he believes in himself. From the very first session, she made our son feel comfortable, encouraged, and excited to learn. She used creative games, included his siblings, and always brought something fun and new for him that made the sessions feel like playtime. She even worked with his school speech therapist to make sure everyone was on the same page.

We actually had Kaitlyn as our speech AND feeding therapist. She is amazing with both speech and feeding! Our child has gained confidence communicating, increasing the length of her utterances and is now eating foods we never thought possible. Mealtimes are enjoyable as a family again!

We’ve had an amazing experience. Kaitlyn is kind, patient, and really knows how to make therapy fun for kids. My child looks forward to every visit and is gaining confidence each week.

Kaitlyn saw my son outpatient for multiple sessions. She took my little 2 year old (first time with a stranger without mom there) that was barely speaking and he came out (in a few weeks) speaking in sentences! I’m so glad I followed my mom-gut and so thankful for her! I’d recommend her 1,000 times!

We have had such a wonderful experience with Kaitlyn. From the very beginning, she made my child feel comfortable and excited about coming to sessions. She is patient, creative, and truly knows how to connect with children in a way that makes learning fun. I’ve seen incredible progress in my child’s speech and confidence, and I’m so grateful for her dedication and expertise. She also takes the time to explain strategies to us as parents so we can support progress at home. I would highly recommend Kaitlyn to any family looking for a caring and highly skilled pediatric speech therapist!

A developmental consult is a one-time appointment designed to address specific concerns about your child’s speech, language, communication, or feeding development. It’s a great option for families who are unsure if therapy is needed, want guidance on how to support their child at home, or are looking for professional input without committing to ongoing services. Appointments are 60 minutes.
During the consult, the SLP will:
Discuss your concerns and your child’s developmental history
Observe and/or interact with your child
Offer feedback, recommendations, and next steps
Provide strategies or resources you can use at home
A developmental consult does not include formal testing or a diagnosis, but it can help determine if further evaluation or therapy is recommended.
Consultations may be conducted virtually.
